Hi and welcome to the first entry of my work in progress section.
The October competition is a 11 sec clip from the film Glory (1989)

The transcript is
Voice One: "I mean, what's the point? Ain't nobody gonna win, it's just gonna go on and on..."
Voice Two: "Can't go on forever."
Voice One: "Yeah, but ain't nobody gonna win... so."
Voice Two: "Somebody's gonna win."
The way I decided to tackle this clip is to listen to it without finding out what the movie is about and see if I can come up with anything.
I decided on two guys playing an endless game of naughts and crosses. I chose to stage this where the camera frames them from the waist up.
